Beer History

Brewing has been part of human activities since the dawn of civilization. The beer appears to have been an essential part of the Sumerian culture: the word “beer” seems in many contexts relating to religion, medicine, and myth. Beer is one of the oldest drinks humans have produced, dating back to at least the 5th millennium B.C. in Iran, and was recorded in the written history of ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia and spread throughout the world.


It has been said that in the beginning that the Egyptians were the first to document the brewing process around 5000 B.C, it is believed that the first brewers were part of primitive cultures of Mesopotamia.
